Thanks for the heads up Curt! I'll have to look into that more but I don't understand. How is it different from wholesalers splitting deals? If one has a seller and the other a buyer.

I am just starting out and trying to get into some wholesaling. My partner and I had a meeting today with a realty company that purchases properties and wholesales them to other investors. The meeting went well. They said they would send us some properties to market for them and we can add on our fee for bringing our buyers to the table. We can also bring them property deals that they may want to purchase from us.

Is this a good way to learn and get started in wholesaling? What should be our next step? We are still working to build our buyer's list. We're kind of playing this thing by ear now. What are some good ways to start marketing the deals they send our way?

Greetings fellow RE investors,

My name is Tivon. I recently moved to the Atlanta area (originally from Augusta, GA) and currently attending school for accounting. I have been studying some real estate investing as well and I am interested in learning more. I look forward to networking and speaking with other like-minded individuals. Thank you.
