@Justin Tahilramani ya it’s my understanding that there has to be a certain number of homes on a parcel before it’s considered a park. At which point a lot of the rules and regulations probably become more involved. I’m not sure what that number is. I’m sure it depends on where you are.

@Dan Flock go to mhvillage.com and do a search for parks in your area. You’ll see a pretty complete list. From there get the numbers and start calling the park managers to see about vacancy. Ask if they offer any move in incentives. Ex pay for the move, 2 months free lot rent etc. good luck!

@Rachel H. I’ve heard all of the Real Estate Laws/ Landlord Tenant Laws in California are strict.

@Carl West unless you join a mentorship program, I would suggest going to Real Estate meet ups and let relationships form organically from just talking and getting to know people. You gotta get out there though to have the opportunities present themselves.

Post: Not sure how this house is zoned

So there is this little house 968 sq ft for sale in the Texas town I live in. It’s listed for 143k, it is in bad shape. Windows boarded up, floors and walls messed up, etc. Houses in this neighborhood are selling for 160-180k. But this particular house is at the edge of the neighborhood and surrounded by commercial properties. I don’t know how the house is zoned other than just straight up residential but it makes me think there could be big potential with its location. Especially with area growing very rapidly. It’s appears to have been on the market a long time with the price being reduced every few months. I’m new to investing in Real Estate, I’m in the process of saving up for my first down payment on what will be a house hack for sure. Does anyone with more experience have any thoughts on this? I just feel like it could have really big potential. Thanks!

@Gadiel Del Orbe the best time to invest is always NOW. Nobody can predict the market, some would call that speculation.

@Michael Jones I agree. I like the New Braunfels, San Marcos, Buda. Anything in between Austin and San Antonio I think is a good long term play.
