I just purchased a duplex  with a vacant apartment that can get $950/month (current rent for the other side) but the bathrooms look kinda outdated and pink. The kitchen isn't so bad but I'm wondering what kind of increase in rent do you think I can get if I updated this one and a half bathrooms with a simple white subway tile to replace the pink and new vanities with storage? Is it worth it to spend time retiling this bathroom my self or is it fine and won't command much more in rent? I'm trying to put my personal preferences aside.
