Thanks Eric/Wayne. You have given me some inspiration, I think I can do a combination trim sections and wood filler to make it work out.

The paneling is smooth with the exception of the vertical seams every 4'. We are planing on painting over it . We aren't really wanting to drywall over it.

Thanks Michael, a little concerned about that as we'll. A guy I work with suggested it. It is only a few seams and a section we need to fill where we pulled out a room heater. Got any ideas on how to cover the seams?

Thanks for the reply! The owners are using a realtor. For the first couple of months I heard conflicting information, that they were requesting more information, could I still close at the end of the month, that they had everything and it was moving forward then they needed more info. That all ended back in May. Now I just don't hear anything.

I've been relying on my realtor for all communication. I'll try calling the owners realtor to see what is up. So can the owners get denied on the short sale? Any ideas on how to find out if that happened?

Hey everyone I'm new to this and I'm looking for some guidance on what to do or if I can do anything about a short sale offer a I put in about eight months ago. The offer was accepted by the owners and then passed on to Citi Bank. Since then, I haven't heard much other than the bank was requesting more information from the owners.

Since I first made the offer, the market had risen a bit and I might be able to raise my offer on the house. They have had some recent sales that justify a greater sale price then what I offered and the owners accepted. I'm not sure if I should do anything or just wait for a response from the bank. I'm also concerned that I will never hear anything from the bank except that it was not accepted. Thanks
