Hey Zachary Sexton, that's awesome. It definitely seems like a tough thing to find, but definitely encouraging to hear that other people are having success.

Hey Brandon Turner, thanks for the links, I'll be checking them out right after work! I'm starting to sense a theme with the multifamily properties and the people in the 'know'. It definitely seems like a great way to go. I've been reading a little about FHA loans and I'm really intrigued with the possibility of trying to find a tri or fourplex to start out with. I've come across several of your articles so far while browsing the site and you're doing an amazing job! Very informative and entertaining reads.

Ned: Thanks for the advice. That's actually what I've been reading the past couple days. What an incredible resource! I love how there are tons of links to other articles within each chapter.

Kevin: Thanks for the tip and the link! I definitely don't want to step on any toes...especially the feds. The more I'm reading the more I feel like multifamily properties are a great way to go. I have so much to learn about financing and finding the right deals. I love the Tri-Cities! We used to go up to Lake Charbeneau every summer to do some boating, such great memories from that. Try to stay cool out there!

Thanks for the advice Joshua! Maybe there's a better place to ask this question, but as a newbie I'm still finding my way through this site so I'll ask it here. I'm trying to reply to each of the individuals who took the time to respond to my introduction. Is there a way to directly reply to someone's comments or does the reply always just go to the bottom of the comments thread? Thanks!
Tim

Thanks Anson! Looks like I just missed the June meetup, but I look forward to attending in July!

Hello Bigger Pockets community! My name is Tim, I'm a complete newbie from Denver. I found this website through a coworker of mine and have been devouring information for the past couple days. I figured that was enough lurking and it was time to introduce myself...so hello.

I have been incredibly impressed with this community and how nice and helpful everyone seems to be. I look forward to getting a chance to connect with many of you and to form some meaningful relationships with people of this community.

Like I said earlier, I'm a total newbie....so new that I don't have a clear idea of what type of RE investor I want to be yet, but I am leaning towards mobile homes and buy and hold.

Since this is an introduction, I should probably tell you a little about myself. I'm originally from the Seattle area, but have been in the Front Range of Colorado for about 8 years. I am currently employed as an environmental engineer at a local consulting firm and spend most of my free time on my mountain bike and my snowboard.

I guess I will finish with a question to you all. What are your strengths and how did these strengths help you decide what niche was for you? And of course, please tell me a bit about yourself!

I am so excited to have stumbled upon this community and I look forward to getting to know you!

Tim
