Best of luck on your exam.  Don't worry. The state exam is usually easier than the school exam. (based on personal experience).

Best of luck. Keep us posted.

Thank you Keith, I live in Harford county MD and I took my exam with long and foster in a face to face setting 4 hours every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. The class lasted from April 6- May 12. I honestly did not like my teacher whatsoever. She would not allow us to open our books in class due to the fact that she only wanted us to hear and understand the material "her way." My teacher also sat and read from a piece of paper which made it very hard to follow Bc she talked very fast!!!! Although my teacher was not the best, I feel like I self taught myself a lot of the material and once you understand the concept it comes a lot easier to you. Also, because my teacher wasn't the best (to me) I took an exam prep class last weekend and that honestly made understandi real estate a lot easier. My advice is to take the class face to face. But don't go to long and foster in bel air !!!!! Lol good luck!!!

Hi @Ti Jackson

First congratulations and you will do well.

Where did you attend classes or did you do it online? What are your thoughts of the program you attended? Just asking because I'm going to sign up within the next few weeks myself and not sure if i want to do online or a classroom.

Thank you for the advice sue! I am actually. Terrible test taker, it seems as if I think that I know the answer until I see all of the 4 choices for an answer. Furthermore, I loveeee the mindset that you had about others who are leaving the test quickly. I also tend to become
really distracted when taking test. But I thank you for your great advice. Many individuals have given me good test taking tips which I will apply today when I take my exam! Just pray for me lol

It's been a million years since I took the exam in WA state.  Just take your time, and don't be freaked out when you see people leaving and you're nowhere near done.  Just tell yourself those are the people who probably just gave up - as opposed to thinking they zipped through it and it means you are slower, dumber, whatever.

I'm a very slow test-taker, but I have always passed difficult tests on my first try - including a very difficult exam given by the bar for first year law students in CA.  I'm not brilliant, but I study like crazy and I take a deep breath, and I move slowly and meticulously through a test.

If you aren't sure of a question, make a light mark next to it and move on to the next question.  Come back to it if you have time at the end.

For multiple choice, trust your first instinct and don't second guess yourself!  Don't over-think it.  I was horrible at multiple choice exams until a professor took me aside and told me that I knew the answers, but was over-thinking the questions, and to just go with my first, gut response.  From then on, I did well on them.

So, take your time, when you see people leaving ahead of you, tell yourself those are the people who won't pass (hey, even if it's a Jedi mind-trick, who cares?), if you are stumped on a question don't waste time on it - move on, and go with your first instinct on a multiple choice question.  And if you've done your studying, like you say you have, you will pass.

I won't even say good luck, because I know you'll pass :-)

Thank you! And yes that is my problem, I know that two of the answers will be incorrect it's just the factor of choosing between the two best answers! Many are saying that the psi exam is easier than the practice tests. Therefore, I think I will do a lot better than what I feel!

The best advice I can think to give you is to take your time and read ALL of the answers, even if you think you see the correct one as choice A or B. Here in GA some questions require the BEST answer, especially the ones that are ethics related. Good luck, it sounds like you have your stuff together!

Thank you so much!! I'm def going to use your tips when taking my exam! I have rescheduled for today at 12:30 so I  pray that I pass!

. Do two mock exams one week before the exam, treat them like the real thing. If you get 70% on both you will pass
. If you below 70 but close, Use the last week to review your mistakes. You will still likely pass.
. If you score below 60 on both, reschedule the exam or study really hard during that last week.
. The test exams are hard than real ones.
. You will encounter question you don't know the answers, guess in the following order:
- avoid absolute words like any, never.
- choose between choices that has opposite meanings.
- avoid the terms you never heard of
- choose the longest answer

Good luck.

Thank you !!!!!!!!

Disclosure, I'm with KW.  With KW, you have a lower takeout, but you pay for almost all your expenses.  There is generally no company advertising, as KW is big on associates building their own brand (within state limits).  The KW market centers that I have been with don't give out any leads, so if that is important to you, you might check out other brokerages.  I like the general concept of KW, however, each market center is different, so, talk to some associates there to get their opinion of team leader and other admins.

Good luck!

Thanks! And yes I have tonnsss of questions about KW... Sorry in advance lol. First, within their mentoring program ; as me being the mentee what is the % which i have to give the mentor for guiding me? Secondly, exactly how much did you pay in startup costs ( are majority of their fees prorated?) lastly, within KW, do they give you leads such as walking that don't request a specific agent ? Thank you sooo much !!!!

I switched from a popular brokerage in my area to join KW.  Education and structure is top of the line.  Payment structure is awesome as well.  I highly recommend KW.  Happy to help answer any questions you may have, best of luck.

I live in Maryland, and we have the same policy here as well. [70%higher you pass.] But; thank you for the advise, I tend to skim through answers without reading them. I will def. be sure to take my time when it comes to this particular exam!
-wish me luck!

My advice is take your time.  I specifically remember taking the exam and about mid way through zoning out just kind of zipping through it.  Still passed but I am always curious to know what my score was, unfortunately in my state if you get about a 70% you pass but they do not tell you what your score is.  If you fail then they tell you your score.
