Hey everybody, I work in the sports industry and with that often comes tips from players. At the end of each season I typically receive a fairly generous lump sum of cash from the players. I was wondering what options I have as to using that money as a down payment or just in general in real estate. Is my only option to claim that money so that I can prove where it came from?

Hey everybody, today I listened to BP podcast episode 229 with Zeona McIntyre who makes her real estate living off of short term rentals (primarily Airbnb). I was wondering if anybody in this area has any experience with this or could point me in the right direction for learning more. I'm primarily talking about buying or renting a house/apartment and using it exclusively as a short term rental. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey everybody! I only recently came across Bigger Pockets but have loved it so far. I am a young professional in the sports industry and I live in St. Petersburg, FL. I am not nearly ready to begin investing but with the sports industry as volatile as it is I would love to begin delving into real estate. My initial goal would be to create another source of cash flow to support my current salary with the possibility of moving into real estate full time down the road. I have thought about getting my real estate license and selling real estate to build up some money before I begin investing myself. I would love to connect with some professionals in the industry and begin my journey in real estate!
