Hello BP! My name is Wendy, and I am a newbie looking to break into the world of rehabbing, and eventually other facets of investing. I currently work full time in NYC as an art director for an ad agency, but in my free time I have been immersing myself in the world of REI...reading as many books as I can and listening to a lot of the podcasts here on BP. I am a designer at heart, and hope that combined with my passion for real estate, I may someday be a successful niche residential redeveloper.

Since I am a mere grasshopper, I would love to find an experienced investor who I can learn from. I can help with design, staging, cleaning, organizing, whatever! I am eager and willing to work for hands-on knowledge and experience.

My biggest challenge right now is my current schedule...I commute to NYC from NJ M-F, which doesn't leave much time for starting a new career. Trying to find that fine line...any advice on that would be much appreciated!

Wow @Alex Applebee, well done!

I am so glad you got around to posting about your first flip. Your results are amazing, and your story is inspiring! I have been educating myself as much as possible, and hope to dig into my first flip this year. Finding the courage (not to mention the time while working full time) will be my biggest challenge.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Great job!
