I know a few, depends on what you are looking for.

What are you looking for?

the ones with the best deals of course ;o)

i'm in aurora, so maybe SE denver area (don't want projects in golden, boulder, etc) and not high end stuff due to budgets starting out.

thanks for the greetings Adrian, Jenkins, Ben, Steven, & Michelle!

i'm looking forward to getting involved w/ the denver community and soaking up some knowledge.

@michelle - yes, teton county is awesome. and much more affordable than the other side of the pass (jackson, wy). the only issue is the 8 hr. drive...

@steven - good luck in MN. I lived in Lakeville for a couple of years a long time ago and enjoyed it (minus the cold and snow)

Hey everyone! Glad to be a new member on BP. I actually met Josh at a networking event in boulder when he was launching this site several years ago. We've been connected on linkedin and I see his posts there. It just took me a while to get here.

Anyway, I own a software consulting business that has done well over the past few years, so I've got some liquid capital that I'd like to invest. And being in the tech business, I've gone through the ups and downs of the stock market (was actually a multi millionaire ON PAPER for a while till the dot com crash). So, I'm done w/ the stock market.

I bought my 1st investment house in Feb. this year. It's a 3br, 2ba, 1400 sq. ft. vacation rental on 1 acre in Teton County (Driggs), Idaho. About a half hour from Jackson, WY. Mostly b/c I like to fly fish and ski up there, and also b/c it was a homepath (fannie may) steal I couldn't pass on.

RE: Denver, I'm getting ready to stick my toe in the proverbial waters of REI, probably fix n flip vs. landlording at this point. My family owned apt. buildings and I wasn't crazy about that side of the biz. Plus I don't have the capital for holding more than maybe 1 or 2 properties at this point.

I'll plan on attending the group event in December, and hopefully get to know some of the Denver area community. Also, I might be interested in partnering / joining forces on projects if the match and deal is right. I have decent construction experience having worked in the "trades" when I was in my teens and through college. I've finished basements, etc. (no electrical and limited plumbing).

That's about it for now. I'm looking forward to learning about the biz; and have already spent many hours browsing the forums and reading articles. Chao.
