@Adiel Gorel there’s a lot doom in this forum. I actually make more money in a down market. Adapt or find something else to do. This type of thing just gets rid of the people that are not immersed in the industry. All the crap deals go away, all the terrible wholesalers go away. Realtors start doing their job properly. I’d have the economy back to where it was a month ago in a hot minute. The reality is that’s not going to happen, how it will effect us long term is up to us. We can be victims or we can come out of this better than before. It’s up to each one of us.

@Jasraj Singh hey there hope you’re well. Do not think that there are rules to renting or being a landlord, there isn’t. Do not over complicate things.

A deal is not a deal if you don’t make any money, period.

A person can ask what they want for a property it does not mean the property is worth what they are asking.

There are properties out there that you can make money on every month. You just have to put effort into finding them. If you immerse yourself in the business and see many many deals one of them will come along that you can’t say no to. Be patient and it will come.

@Jay Hinrichs yep we’ve had all of our long term tenants pay. Air bnb rentals are all down so we’re considering renting them by the room for now. We’ll see.

what we’re not thinking about is the short term effect on hourly paid workers not being able to do any hours because of being sick and therefor not being able to pay the rent. I wouldn’t be worried about it effecting sales, people get sick all the time and still want to buy houses. Inventory is super low and money is cheap, sounds like the makings of a bubble to me.
