I agree with Steven.You should register your business in every state you do business in.I believe they call it a foreign entity.

Hi Andy,

My brother/partner and I just stood up an S-Corp for the transactional income, which is fix and flips, wholesaling, and quick cash. We do have W2´s outside of investing. Our team of advisors said it is best to use an S-Corp for this kind of income. You can stand up a LLC and select S-Corp taxes. The reason why we stood up the S-Corp now is because we are both going full time in REI. This might be the difference on what you are looking for and what our advisors suggested we do. Although not everyone has the same opinion on everything, I would suggest finding a REI friendly law firm and get there thoughts before moving forward.
