OOS investor looking to make a purchase on a foreclosed home in the Hartford Connecticut area. Home seems to be in a Class C maybe D area. It’s a multi family unit (4 bed 2bath 1680square feet) 2 units. Auction starts at 69k. Homes around the area range around 140k and up.

How’s the Hartford Connecticut market?

Does it make sense to invest in a flip in this area?

Post: What to expect after the inspection

In the verge of purchasing my first property. Just got my offer accepted and got an inspection on the home. Found out there were a lot of safety hazards that the sellers responsible for. Also found out that there were roof deterioration, brick damage on the outside of the home and tile floor damage in a bathroom. Other than that they were other very minimal damages that I could fix on my own. As a first time home owner, should I expect the seller to be responsible in covering all of these damages before closing?
