We are just starting out in our journey to buy rental properties.  We have ran into numerous Real Estate Agents who just really do not care about doing business with us.  Is this a common theme or are we doing something wrong?

We contact them to talk about properties, tell them what we are looking for, budget, area, etc.  They sent us listings and when we respond with, can we get the Seller's disclosure, age of equipment (HVAC, Water Heater, Roof) Rental history, etc we get met with push back or silence.

Thanks everyone for all of the information and tips.  We are ending up backing away from it due to the condition.  I am not in the area, and had a family member go look at the property.  They were covered in tarps, porches collapsing, etc.  Luckily we didnt jump early.  On to the next one.

@Frank Hinck thanks for that advice. It is for $120k. I just don’t think it is smart to pay all that in cash up front. The land itself is worth $60k. So some negotiations are happening if I can figure out financing.

I’ll call the local credit unions and see what they have to say. Thanks again.

Forgive me for being the new guy at the table and if this question has been asked and answered before.

I have the opportunity to purchase a property in Florida, with 2 tenant occupied mobile homes in good condition..  One of the homes is a 1983 and the other is a 2000.

My question is how can I get these financed?

They are hooked up to city water, sewer, electrical.

I would be purchasing the land and the mobile homes.

Thanks for any and all answers

Good Evening y'all,

I am fairly new to the market and brand new to bigger pockets.  My wife and I are starting to dive into the market.  We are looking to get in touch with agents in the Florida Panhandle, Georgia, and Pennsylvania areas.

I know it is a little spread out, but it is areas we know fairly well.  The goal is to get 3 houses this year even with covid going on.  We have had a few that were pulled from the market after negotiating, and found some very bad agents also.  We look forward to meeting and learning from every one.

I have the opportunity to purchase a piece of property in Florida, with two mobile homes on it.  They are both income producing mobile homes.  One is a 1980 model and other is a 2000 model.

Is there a way to finance the purchase?
