Thank you Jamie and Jasmine for the warm welcome and resources!

What inspired you both to become real estate investors and what start-up advice would you give someone who's new to this?

Hi all,

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I'm not quite at a point where I have looked into what I'm pre-approved for, but have purchased a condo unit a few years ago, sold for profit, and are norenting.

I'd be interested in potentially flipping, but since I'm still new to this, something small and manageable with little down as a start. A property that is on island and can be rented out or flipped and sold to help with some additional income for future investments.

Danny,

Thank you for all of the wonderful resources and contact! Much appreciated! I think I'll start with some of the podcasts. Found a great one to start with #200 last night :)

Aloha from Hawaii!

I'm Tee and I currently live on the island of Oahu. This is the first time I've joined a community forum like this and I am quite pleased with the diverse community members and level of engagement with one another.

I have very little to no experience in real estate investment, but would like to learn more about obtaining a first-time real estate property to establish a passive source of income.

Not sure where or how to start so any pointers for resources, books or contacts would be most appreciated.

Thank you!
