Greg B. I didn't have a chance to meet with you in the Dallas area. I had to make an additional trip to Philly to see my mom which threw my timeline off a few days. I'm sure we'll meet up one of these days.

Nick J. This is an interesting topic. How do you plan to use CL as a buyer with the video marketing?

Bill Gulley I'm in the process of moving and haven't made it to Kansas, yet. I should be there on Tuesday.

Steve Babiak I was just in Philly and my mom was saying the casino in Chester was slowing down business in the mom and pop shops. Business was already slow and the casinos made it worse.

I'm planning to move to Kansas in the next week and found a real estate expo that's on August 25. I'm not affiliated with the organization but found the link on Facebook from a group I belong to. I figure this is also a good way to meet people and find out what's going on in this new area to start investing in this area. The event's located in Independence, Missouri.

I thought this would also be a great way to meet other members of Bigger Pockets who are in the area. The event runs from 9 am to 2 pm and we could meet either before or after the event to talk and get to know each other.

This is the link to register for the event.

Looking forward to meeting others in the area. Here's my cell [REMOVED].

Greg B. I'll let you know. My dates have to shift again since next week I plan to fly from Texas to Philly to visit my mom. I may be in Dallas around July 15.

L Gale,
I'm starting from scratch. For me I move every few years and have to start building contacts again and research the market once my new residence is set up. I'm on a short time crunch since I'm only scheduled to be in Kansas for a year and then will move again next summer. Maybe I'll start a post about moving into a new area, contact I meet, and deals I look at. But we'll see how much time my classes take up.

Moving is such a hassle. I used to enjoy it when I was single. Now that I'm married you don't realize how much stuff you acquired.

I don't have much to post since I'm in the middle of moving from Louisiana to Kansas. I met with a few property managers and contractors last month on two homes that I closed. One thing to remember is to keep your significant other informed on everything. I failed to keep my wife updated on the purchases and she had some doubts on the last two deals.

My first experience with FIVERR was not good. I paif $5 for someone to create a logo for my blog. Within a few days he sent it and then I had to sign up for other programs just to download the link. I told him I didn't want that and he said everyone was using it. He was from somewhere in Europe. I gave him a bad review since I was an unhappy customer. FIVERR paid back my $5 and I looked for another logo designer.

I would really pay attention to the designer's on FIVERR and ask many questions and be specific about what you want.
