So, he is between the youngest and the oldest. Yawn.

Lots of Presidents have had kids. Teddy Roosevelt had a house full of them.

THANK YOU! It always has been but the racebaiters wouldn't admit it.

Now, that is just pathetisad.

Look at the headlines here and around the world. It doesn't say America elected a President with two young daughters (or any of the others you mentioned). They are all talking about America electing the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT!

It is incredibly historic and you should be ashamed of yourself to trivialize it with the items you mentioned above. He will forever be the first black POTUS and given the history of this country, it is an incredible achievement.

What else makes HIS election historic?

In fairness, there are two. His skin color and he will be the 44th POTUS.

Beyond that, please fill in the blanks.

Bush said that, McCain said that, do YOU have a problem with the subject?

If so, that's sad..

No reply needed and thanks for your support!

I'm curious. Why do you have such a chip on your shoulder? Your guy won! Be happy! We are all going to witness his performance in office. The way you are carrying on it almost looks like you are afraid he won't live up the many and varied promises he's made and the expectations he has allowed to be set.

His election is historical. Of that there is no doubt. But, the only reason it is historical is because of his skin color.

Yes, give them their notice now and you will be rid of them by the end of the year.

I fear we will all miss not having to fight the terrorists on our soil instead of on foreign soil.

I hope I am wrong.

I did vote for Bush twice because he was better than the other choices. But, he has been a big disappointment.

The NEW America, Love it or Leave it!

New history, huh? Yeah, that is funny.

We don't have to leave it. The US Constitution guarantees we can change our government every two years if we don't like what is happening.

One thing we can say with certainty now is ...

We will see.

What?

Don't you know any history? All of those were members of the Democrat party.

What would happen if a white supremist (sp?) was standing outside the door, holding a night stick in his hand? There would be all hell to pay! The country would go ballistic!

Get used to it, Rich. The double standard will continue.

There is always irony in any situation. I find it very ironic that the party of segregation, the party that founded the KKK, the party of George Wallace, JB Stoner and other racists, is the party that elected President Elect BO.

I also find it ironic that PE BO referenced MLK Jr. who was in fact, a Republican.

I find it ironic that the words of Abraham Lincoln are coming true. "You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time. But, you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

Yes, there is plenty of irony in this election.

It is going to be an interesting and incredibly profitable time for some of us.

Congratulations, PE BO. I pray our republic survives your turn at the helm of power.
