Hey, my wife & I are Dallas based, we currently own 5 rentals in Minneapolis but are looking to diversify with a rental in Fort Worth Area and looking for recommendations from any agents/investors on the area. Current thinking is student rentals close to TCU seem to have the most attractive cash flow but appreciate any feedback.

Hi all, currently own 4 investment properties in the Minneapolis Market, live in DC, but will potentially be moving to Dallas in a few months. Curious on any investor's recommendations on neighborhoods they would move into at the moment if they were to buy a single family home?

Hey quick scenario question.

 - Previous owned no rentals.

- In Jan 5 I got an accepted offer on a MN duplex(I live in DC)

- Visited on Jan 15th and closed on Feb 15th, then listed rental on Feb 27th

 - Would my Jan 15th trip be a standard travel write-off even though I didn't yet own it

@Randy Bloch Hey Randy, I live in DC currently and invest in Minneapolis so I've been doing the remote gig currently but since I have 3 properties in Minneapolis already, I want to begin looking elsewhere from a risk mitigation/diversification standpoint. While I may get another in MN, I don't want to get more than 4 without finding an equivalent property elsewhere.

Hey all, currently I have 3 duplexes in Minneapolis, each bought for around $240-$250K and they bring in about $2500-$3100 in rent each. I'd now like to diversify and am looking into Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Vegas. Would love to hear of anyones experience in one of these markets, see some examples of cash flowing 2-4 unit properties, and get connected to a realtor/investor in the market that owns multiple multi-family properties.
