Irondale has a great rental value vs cost of homes. I'm also not sure why anyone would knock it. I've sold(buyers and sellers) there recently and if they are priced right they usually resale very quickly. I personally think it resells way better that Fultondale in my experience.

First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tanner Nicholas. I am a full time real estate agent in the Birmingham,Al area. I have a thriving real estate business that is the #1 place I reinvest my money. I am looking to dive into the world of flipping. I am currently owner occupying my first investment property. I saw it more as a long term goal than short term... plus I had to have a place to live. I have worked with investors on and off since starting real estate. I am looking to expand myself and my business. I feel that I have a leg up on the competition because I know where the deals are, where the right place to invest is, and I can save on commissions. I am looking for suggestions on how to get started with the least amount of startup capital involved.
