Hi Ladies,

I hope you are all doing well at this time of transition and opportunity.

We are all now challenged to manage our lives through unchartered territories, and that can feel uncertain and scary.

I created the Wealth Warrior Woman Accountability Tribe on Facebook so that there is a place where you can continue to dream and brainstorm your financial goals.

Real Estate is a key to meeting those goals you don't want to miss out on. Starting May 18th, next Monday, I will be having a "Become a Real Estate Investor 5 Day Challenge". It will take place live from 10-11 am PST, and we will cover a whole lot of ground.

The group and the challenge are both FREE!

We will cover the 5 M's:

MINDSET-MONEY-MAGNIFY-MULTIPLY-MANIFEST

(1)MINDSET- What is holding you back from investing and how to get past it

(2) MONEY Look at your budget, strategize savings and taking charge over your finances simply

(3) MAGNIFY How to find options in Real Estate and determine where to buy

(4) MULTIPLY How you can afford Real Estate by understanding and analyzing numbers

(5) MANIFEST Set goals and plan for wealth through Real Estate

I hope to see you there!

@Perry Ivy Interesting Perry! I have not heard that concern from many. I was trained that you could not sue a retirement account. It is interesting that your corporation owns investments as I was told that was risky. I almost did it at one point. I can’t remember why I was told not to buy property inside the Corp, but I am going to investigate it again. I am learning so much from this thread. Retirement accounts have many gray areas.

@Tom Makinen No, I don't have a ROTH.  It is 401K untaxed dollars.  I wish it was in a ROTH!  I am only paying once.

@Alina Trigub Thanks for the input.  My husband and my plan keeps getting more and more sophisticated.  Do you administer Solo K's in your company?

@Aaron K. There are so many benefits to the 401k and strategies. I recommend checking out The Book on Tax Strategies for the Savvy Real Estate Investor by Amanda Han and Matthew MacFarland.  There is a whole chapter about it!

@Jessica Doolittle I would do a bit of research before diving in.  Do you know much about investing?  If you want to invest nearby start looking around where there are jobs and shopping. Look at areas outside of NYC that are close to one hour away.  A have a contact in the Poconos if you are interested.  She is a Realtor and investor there. She raves about the market.

I have been investing 401K funds through a self-directed DB plan in my company for a while, but now I have different 401K money coming in and wondering who uses retirement accounts with traditional stocks and who is investing in Real Estate? I am also curious about what strategies you are using and how you have set up self- directed accounts with funds in your name as opposed to a company.
