@Maurice D. this is exactly what I needed to know! You’re speaking my language. I already have a few house I was looking at but now I see the direction to go. I understand an accurate repair estimate prior to purchase is key to knowing if it’s a good deal or not. Thank you!

@Jessica Harrison besides running the ARV I am mostly concerned with accurate repair estimates prior to pursuit. You're right, I will need a GC I can work with until I can get more familiar with this area of work.

I’m in the Dallas area. I have a career in engineering/construction management. I have been researching and very interested in fix & flips. I mostly have knowledge in heavy civil and no residential work. I have a few interesting leads but I have no team to hit the ground with. Where should I start to get the ball rolling? Investors? Real estate agents? I’m not sure.
