I appreciate your angle on this!

I agree with Taylor. Some crowdfunding platforms end up really not knowing who or what you are investing in

There are also many different types of crowdfunding. There is reg cf and reg a which are two very different types of entities and goals since you can only raise $5M and the other $75

What concerns me when I look at reg cf stuff is after all the fees they pay, where is the meat on the bone for investors? For vs style equity deals is one thing but for real estate it’s another.

Thank you for your perspective on this!

Quote from @Taylor L.:

For my passive capital I chose to lean away from crowdfunding platforms in favor of building relationships with great operators and investing directly with them. I believe it's worth putting in that effort because these are long term investments with tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars invested.

Hello!

I’m in the process of learning about crowdfunding as a real estate investment option - to invest my money - for returns.

What is your favorite real estate investment crowdfunding platform? Why is it your favorite?

Thank you for your time!

Hi Wesley,
Thank you! Do you know the specific name of that meetup?

I think there is one on meetup that specifically focuses on out of state.

See you on the next one!

Hi Sharon,

Hello!

Does any know of any real estate investment clubs in or near the San Diego area that are focused on long-distance real estate investments? I am intersted in long-distance fix and flips. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Zarrin M., SDCIA sounds like a great fit for you. I'm from Washington State and invest across the country (IN,TX,LA,FL,SC,NC), you are welcome to reach out if you have any questions.

Hi Dan!
I really appreciate your lead on that! I’ll definitely look into the SDCIA subgroup. Thanks again!

SDCIA has a monthly subgroup with subject of out of state investing unfortunately it was yesterday for this month.  I have never gone because investing in San Diego has been very lucrative but I used to go to their monthly Multi Family meet up which was good and well attended.  I think SDCIA is a class group so I would expect their out of state investing group to be a very good meet up.

Seeing that I am looking for an STR in Emerald Coast, maybe I should consider going to the SDCIA OOS Investing meet up group.

good luck

That’s great! What is the name and location of that long distance meetup?

I tried to google and search for one on meetup and I got no results.
