Hello - I have not used general contractors up to this point.  I am getting to where I would like to purchase multiple properties at a time.  The only way I see that working is to have a general contractor running at least one project.

Can anyone recommend a good general contractor they have worked with in Toledo?

Engelo - that is what I thought.  Thanks for the info.  Maybe one day I can get to the point where i have "in house" crews. :)

Engelo - who do you use for roofs?  

No - I can't do another layer.  It already has 2 layers.  Plus I want it done so it lasts for a long time.

I ended up getting 6 quotes and they were all over the board. 

My job has about 21 square of shingles and also a flat rubber roof on a porch.  It is also an older roof that has cedar shake underneath, so it has to be all torn off and new osb sheeting put down.  

My quote ran from $8,500 to $14,000.  After doing my research I ended up with final quote of $10,000 to do the work.  So about 

if the quotes you are talking about are including installation.....that sounds too good to be true...at least from what I experienced.

When can you take a look at it.....I have 4 quotes so far and I'm going to schedule someone asap?  What number can I call you at?
