It looks like they charge around 18%. If so, there is much cheaper money available...IMHO

If the bank is in the first position lien, then yes all gets wiped out ..except irs, child support and hoa. I believe this is a fact in FL. Those all have to be negotiated... Hope this helps

Wayne,

A tax deed does NOT wipe out HOA debts in Hillsborough & Pinellas counties... I have been through this many times... It also will NOT remove child support and IRS liens. You have to negotiate those separately. They are all exempt in the counties I mentioned.. Not sure about rest of FL..

FYI.. Per Fla Stature 197. 562. Grantee of Tax Deed is entitled to immediate possesion...

If I buy from an auction @ the county courthouse and the first mortgage is the one that is foreclosing, does the second disappear at auction or am I as the winner of the house responsible for that note?
