Hi, everyone! I was sitting around with a few members of a Meetup group I am in. The question was asked "if you only had $500 to start your first business, how would you use the money?" So, I thought it would be an interesting question to post here. If you only had $500 to start your RE investing, how would you spend it?

Welcome to BP and investing in Vegas! Vegas is a great place for a beginner. I started in DC metro area. When I moved to Vegas, I found Vegas properties a lot more forgiving and "easier" to work with. Good luck!

Welcome! I don't have any agent suggestions but the Sin City REIA is the best meetup/RE investing group I have ever attended. Everyone is really nice, friendly and helpful.

Hi. I am new to the area. I am looking for a good real estate meet up group or general group. I have experience with wholesaling and rehabbing in the DC metro area so I am not looking for a group for beginners only. I would prefer a good diverse group as far as experience and focus.

I'm interested in Vegas because we would like to split our time there. Right now, we live in Seligman in an off grid community - we are on solar panels, generator and haul our own water. I am currently integrating providing skills and land to people who are interested in living off grid so I'm fine there. I would like to learn the Las Vegas market because, like I said, we are planning on splitting our time there and it is closer to us than Phoenix.

Hi. I used to do wholesaling in the Washington, DC/Maryland area. I recently moved to Northern Arizona and decided I would like to get back into real estate/real estate investing. I am interested in working with/being mentored by a seasoned rehabber in the Las Vegas area. 

My 1 year plan includes rehabbing 2 house in the 120k-150k  price range.

My 5 year plan includes getting into the Florida market also.
