The plumber also said the meters felt like cheap plastic if I am to make sure my full experience is listed.  I have worked for T-mobile and have refunded "activation fees" for accounts that never started.  I also don't know many occupations where someone can charge $150 an hour to program something so yes, in my opinion that is BS.  Again, sharing my experience.

I'm just posting my experience.  It's unfortunate this was such a costly mistake and I want to make sure no one else makes that mistake.  This is what the forum is for.

Be very careful that you are able to use the product True Submeter sells before purchasing.   I purchased for a 4 unit property and unfortunately was not able to use (Plumber did not check crawl space like he said he did so when it came time to install, I was unable to).  Regardless, I returned in unused condition and only got approx 50% refund. Paid over $500 and got $255 back.  I wish my plumber had done what I asked but also seems very unreasonable for company to keep half my purchase for "set up bs fees".

Hi everyone. Has anyone used the TrueSub meter? Bought my first 4plex split up in 2 duplexes so 2 meters for 4 separate units. Wondering if this is good to get. Thanks for any insight.
