Hi all

I am looking for a great broker that can help me locate a spot for a store we are wanting to open in Orlando. I haven’t had much luck with the current broker we’re using. Looking to find a location to lease and potential of several other stores opening as well shortly after. Who do you recommend?

I would do a duplex! I have had several single family rentals and I love the multifamily strategy better now.  I bought a  multifamily property last year and it’s easier to work on it because all my units are on one property

@Natalie Wright I’m in lehi, Utah and will be buying this fall in Orlando as well as we plan to move later this year as well.  I invest in Utah and Idaho so I’m excited to get into the Orlando market soon.  I am buying as a long term rental since we will be there a few years and then come back. I would consider buying your home you will live in with 3-5% and then use the rest of the money to buy another long term rental with 20% down and you can manage it there since you will be living in the area.  That’s how I would use your 100k if you had that.  Plus the Orlando market is cheaper than our market in the salt lake area so your money goes further.

Hey guys we’re looking to buy a single family home in Orlando this year and I’m trying to get a feel of the market there and what will happens in fall when we’re looking to buy. We’re looking to buying in winter garden, Clermont area.

Do prices increase or decrease once school starts and is everything a bidding war? When is the best time to buy.

Trying to get a feel of the market there.

Hey guys, I am purchasing a rental right now that is being built and my lender recommended to pull an Interest only HELOC on my current home that I have equity in it. I want to have the HELOC open for any future short term investments that may come up where i need quick cash and then within a few months, pay it back.

I nervous about an interest only HELOC, the rate sounds like its variable and not fixed. I'm used to the traditional HELOC

What's your guys thoughts on it.

Hey guys, a few members and I of our team are traveling to San Antonio next month to visit areas, brokers, Property managers, to start building a team there. We are looking to buy 50-100 units.

Any tips on areas, where not to buy, best upcoming areas, must know people to talk to and possibly work with, etc.  Trying to get a feel of the city next month. We could only do so much online, and I want to start talking to people in person and driving around areas.

Any help appreciated on areas to buy, avoid, up and coming, peeps to know, etc.

@Skycarr There are cities to watch out for that are continuing to grow and prices are reasonable. Utah county is going to have better prices in most areas than Salt Lake City to buy. But if you look on the west side of Salt Lake City, you can find some good prices on homes there as well.  I am looking to buy another investment in Salt Lake City area and I currently have a home in Utah County that I am making it into a rental.  I flipped several homes last year in Salt Lake City so I can help with any fix and flip investments.  Just reach out.

@Sky C. Salt Lake City is a very competitive market but also very strong. I am a investor/realtor and I can't believe that this winter it hasn't slowed down much. I have met many wholesalers at the local REIA's in Salt lake City for deals. If you come up to visit the area I would advice to go to the meetings. They are very beneficial. Let me know what can do to help you. DM with any specific questions you have about Salt Lake.
