I am with @Rhonda Rowland on this one. Give the attorney plenty of time to get your paperwork in order but an amendment should work I believe. It could depend on the state that you are in though. Granted @Rick Ferguson has a great suggestion so as I am not an attorney just speaking from past experience with document changes.

For me it has been such a learning curve trying to get it right without making costly mistakes. I had great training but that alone does not prepare you for the real world. I want to be competitive and come on strong but at the same time be willing to learn what others have to teach me. That for me is hard to balance. Then there is always this voice in my head wondering if I should make the move or if I am sticking my neck out too far.

My brother and I partner in the real estate investing business and this is our first year and we are working hard to learn as much as we can. We have had several properties that looked good but we only wanted to flip them and could not find a buyer so we moved on but we are still actively looking for properties all of the time.
