@Nick M.

Congrats on the move! I am interested to here your take on the neighborhoods. As Lana mentioned we have some SFH in Northwest Reno, so I concur that's an area to check out (good school district, newer builds, etc). Prices have gone up though so price-hacking might be a good route initially!

@Lana Sheta

This is a great overview of the neighborhoods! Are you renting by the rooms for your houses? Prices have gone up which is why I haven't been investing since 2015...and realize Reno may be a SFH vs multi family market?

@Michael Cross So this would be for a smaller multi-family, but commercial since it's >4 units. I did also want a good RE specialist lawyer who could review the seller financing agreement to ensure we weren't missing any important terms, etc.

Recommendations for an experienced RE lawyer that can draft a seller financing agreement for a multi-family in Nevada (Reno). TIA!

Hey there! I would stay at Grand Sierra - they’ve renovated the pool and have a game area for kids. Also a plus if the adults are into gambling. Hubby and I invested in SFH in Northwest Reno but prices have gone up so much we are now looking into other asset classes. Market is def better than Cali (we live in the Bay Area).
Looking into multi-family units in Reno, Nevada. Would love to work with any lenders that come highly recommended!

Yes but most likely will need to replace since it involves a turn-around effort. That’s something we will be focusing on first to get things cleaned up (evict some residents, etc).

Has anyone been successful using mobile home property managers with turnaround projects? Looking into an off-market MHP in Scottsboro, AL. Numbers check out, but a lot of the success will be dependent on the on-the-ground property manager.

Torey Chumbley - did you ever do a deal with Robert! Just went to an event he did in my area this evening. Have a friend who just closed a deal through CCI last month, and wanted to hear your experience if you did end up purchasing.
