I'm working with an attorney to form an LLC for my rental property, the attorney is asking for my social security number. Is this something safe to share in the context of LLC formation?

That sounds interesting @Paul Riley, Any insights on what those other RE Deals are? REIT? or Arrived.com or something similar?

@Abraham Klein, any luck getting a reliable NJ attorney for your LLC and partnership? Am in the same boat and would appreciate any lead on this

Thanks for your prompt response and for raising a valid question. My budget is in $1M range and hence trying to put atleast 10% down with that savings plus additional down payment from the equities after selling off my current townhome, all in an attempt to reduce monthly mortgage payments with the current interest rate trajectory. Let me know if my thinking is not correct.

Hello Experts,

  I have saved up some $100K+ which i planned to put as down payment for a single family home purchase planned within 6-12 months from now. This amount is sitting in savings account . Looking at my short term needs i do not want to invest in stock market. Any investment suggestions with that amount for low risk and medium returns other than CDs,Treasury bonds etc? Thanks in advance for this community's contribution!

Hello experts, 

This is my first ever post on this forum, this forum has helped me a lot getting clarity on rental investments. This time am looking to create LLC and transfer the deed to LLC instead of my name.

I got email confirmation from my lender that this will not invoke due on sale clause 

Am looking to form individual LLCs for each of my investment properties


Are there any gotchas that i need to be aware of? How the taxation will change after moving to LLC? Any legal clauses to be included in the business terms?
