I'm looking to do something different in the new year to help find motivated sellers. I'm currently mailing out letters and driving for dollars but the process seems a bit slower than I'd like. I'm curious for those who have posted Craigslist ads, how has it worked out for you? I see wholesalers all the time with general ads offering to buy houses. Does this get the phone ringing?

I'm just hearing about the database Melissa Data for the first time while checking out the direct mail education column.

I'm curious as to how this measures up to Listsource. I will admit I'm not all that great with Listsource as I've only purchased twice but I wasn't too happy with the results of my last list. (And maybe this is just due to my lack of knowledge of setting criteria)

Has anyone used this data? What were your thoughts?

Hey guys. I'm looking into setting up a business account for my LLC. Who are the best banks or credit unions to work with? I'm just starting out so I don't know how much or how often I'll get deals so I'm trying not to spend much in monthly fees. Any advice? I'm in Florida.

Thanks Justin. I considered a UPS store but don't have one near me.... I guess if my reponses are low, I will have to reconsider driving a bit further to the nearest location.

I'm a new wholesaler attempting to do direct mail. I have a PO Box for any return mail, but do I need to put my name on the envelope when mailing out my letters? I'm concerned people will begin just tossing my letters once familiar with the mail piece from seeing my name constantly.

Any info would help.

Hey guys. I could really use some help from anyone who uses Listsource for leads. I am new to the game but many have told me they use Listsource to purchase list. I've tried twice and have been unsuccessful. I was told I had to use PayPal by the phone reps when I called to make my purchase using my credit card. After explaining to the rep that the website said to call if I was using a credit card, I was transferred numerous times and eventually sent to a voicemail! Is there something I'm doing wrong here? Thanks.
