Hi,

I acquired my first property last July in Cincinnati Ohio.I am no longer living at the address, and was planning to refi. It's a two family property that is fully occupied. I would like to transfer the title to an LLC since I own other property as well. How do you go about transferring the ownership to an LLC. Should this be done before the refi, after? Does it matter? Not sure how to move forward...

@Robert Duffer hey Rob, I am from Queens NY myself! I am currently living in Cincinnati and you can definitely find cash flowing properties as well as rehab properties in the area.

Hi,

I am renovating a two family rental in Cincinatti OH. I plan on BRRRing it and have questions about some of the renovations.

Is it worth tiling the bathroom walls/shower or add a prefab shower kit and just paint the walls.

Is it worth tiling kitchen backsplash or just add a 4” granite backsplash matching the countertops.

I guess my question is would these small touches be worth the investment when it will be reappraised? The location is College Hill, which in the near future will be experiencing some redevelopment projects. Any feedback appreciated.

Hi,

I just put in my first offer for a multi family property and the seller accepted. Original asking price was 84k, they accepted 72k. The property was an estate sale and the building was vacant 20 years. Any advice on what to look for or how to analyze this deal? I kind of jumped the gun on this one because it was in an up and coming neighborhood and the broker said it would go fast. It’s two 1bedrm apts in north college hill, Cincinnati

@Tim Herman thank you for the advice. Follow on question since you mentioned it. You said move every year for 10 years to estuary get 20-40 doors. How is this done? With a refi?
