Hi David and Ethan - thanks for your vine.   I've delved into a lot of  forums, blogs and podcasts already this week,  and it's a little overwhelming but I'm looking forward to meetups soon to start making some headway.   Happy New Year to you all...

Hi Don... Ha, yes, but let's hope I'm not buying 6' real estate anytime soon!  Thanks for your reply and suggestion to check out the two Indiana associations.   Obviously, the more I delve into the forum and podcasts it becomes a little overwhelming but I can tell there are great people on BP that want to help others succeed.   I hope to do the same for others at some point...

Hi Rob -  Indy's my home and I'm most familiar with it but my current business runs me from Anderson-Muncie all the way down to Mooresville, and I see equal opportunities in those smaller towns due to the blue-collar environment and bread and butter SFHs.   Right now wholesaling interests me the most, and I can see where buying and flipping would work once I understand all of the processes and risks.  My next steps are to be in BP forums and videos ad-nauseum along with talking to other investors who are willing to share their successes and pitfalls.   None of this matters, however, if I'm not a good prospector so I need to learn the most efficient and best ways to prospect for people needing help in selling their property.   I'm blessed to know a lot of realtors in Indy that I can network with, too, so that'll help.   How do you see Indy and surrounding markets since you've been investing?

Hi all - I'm Stu Winternheimer from Indy.  I've been in the funeral/cemetery industry for 20 years and have owned my own monument company for 5 years (yes, tombstones). I love the industry, but there are so many changes taking place (i.e. cremation) that I'm not sure what the industry landscape will look like in 5 years.  I've been researching the real estate industry for several months and investing in real, tangible assets makes so much sense to me (as opposed to the dice-rolling of the stock market).  I'm excited that I found FB and look forward to learning more about the techniques for wholesaling and investing/selling SFHs.  Indy is a great market and seems to have a lot of opportunity. I'll look forward to connecting with everyone...
