Does anyone know where i can go to have my escrow analysis reviewed? I have my analysis from GMAC mortgage and I also have the one from Ocwen. The numbers do not make sense to me. I have tried called Ocwen to help me in figuring out why I'm negative in my Escrow..and they tell me it's from GMAC mortgage that I came negative. When I look at my GMAC analysis I am not negative in my escrow. I really need a professional from the United States to look at my account. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That's good! the problem is that Ocwen customer service is in India..the reps. do not understand anything. I have my Original papers from when i first signed the disclosure statement… but I am not sure how to approach this. As of Jan. 1st they want to charge me $200 more on my mortgage due to the escrow cushion that they want to change. Every time I call them they pressure me to get a mortgage motification… I keep telling them I don't want it. Not sure if i need to hire a lawyer or what. This is the first time this happens to me. I was so happy with GMAC….

GMAC mortgage sold my loan to Ocwen. Now Ocwen wants to change my cushion amount on my escrow account which is way too much. My question is does anyone know If my Initial Escrow Account Disclosure Statement when I first bought my house was a Zero Aggregate type… can the new lender (Ocwen) change it?

Thanks! I'm going to look into the insurance. Now that you say that last month my house insurance sends me a letter stating that my house insurance has not been paid and they are going to cancel. Since this was the first time this happens to me…I started to panic. I called Ocwen and they did failed to pay…after an hour talking to them they went ahead and paid the home insurance. But I'm confused now…If gmac mortgage had collected the money from escrow this past year. Should gmac have paid the home insurance before they sold it to Ocwen?

Thanks! I am really stressed out with this. I have been calling so many places to get help. I finally got in touch with a HUD counselor in my state. I'm waiting for all the paper work from Ocwen that I requested and I'm going review it. I get so frustrated when I have to talk to customer service in India in which the rep. has no clue in what I am trying to say. All they do is read from a script on there computer..yikes!!

They are going to send it to me in 5 days. I was told that when my mortgage was transferred to ocwen…my escrow account was negative. Not sure why…the 11 yrs i had gmac mortgage I was never negative.

It gets worse. My Gmac mortgage was sold to Ocwen a few months ago. I just got off the phone with them...and the Indian guy tells me as of January 2014 my mortgage will go up $200 due to my escrow being negative... My property tax went down so my house ins... Every time I called them I can't understand and they can never give me a good reason why I'm paying more in escrow.. Is anybody experiencing this?
