I'm glad this post came up, I am a wholesaler in CLT, NC area and I know exactly what your talking about. I see people claim to be a wholesalers but have no knowledge Real Estate terminology, ARV, Comps, etc. I think people have the wrong idea when it comes to wholesaling as though it's just quick cash and you can jump in and out (it's marketed like that). Basically they don't look at it as a business model, like you would Rehabbing or Renting properties. I see this as an opportunity for wholesalers to see that there are many buyers that just want a good deal with a good wholesaler.
