I think who will be extinct are those wholesalers who rely strictly on technology to try and get deals.

Yes what @Rafael Floresta said.  I just started out wholesaling in philly and i have one buyer that buys my deals.  I know what he wants exactly and thats key.  

you buy the software to save time. I have 5 kids and one on the way. So i need all the time i can get.  I love it

well i know of a landlord that get s 12 months rent all the time from college students' parent. But yea i would find out the local laws on that
