Real estate is one of the tangible assets that will continue to thrive. Its one of the essential needs (food , water, shelter). Historically, the value of real estate has continued to be on the up swing. It's more of a matter of preparedness from an investor standpoint. Due to Covid, I'm sure investors will re-strategize and implement risk control measures to prepare for the worst. But it's not like a pandemic happens all the time :)! Inventory will be opening up in the near future.

Hey Guys,

I've been looking to get into some investment properties in the Middletown-area. I am super familiar with the area (right in the center of CT). Is anyone familiar with rental market out there? I could not find too much information online. How easy is it to rent out there?

I've read the CARES ACT special rules for retirement funds (ex: 401k/IRA). Allows Coronavirus related distributions up to $100k. Is there too much risk (ex: legal implications) in taking this option? There is a repayment period of 3 years.

I would like to get more insight on where to begin, what resources I will need, what to look out/watch for when finding a potential investment. Understanding the importance of location and what price to pay.
