Post: Transferring a home into an LLC

Hello all! I have tried searching the forum on this subject and I cant seem to find the answer. I recently bought a house in cash with my personal name. My question is can I move it to an LLC without any problems? I understand the house is paid off so there is no bank involved. I wasn't sure if there was more to the transfer that I am missing, or is it that simple? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone my name is Stephanie! I am new to real estate and was wondering if there are any other fellow Michigan real estate investors around willing to share some stories or advise? I have been looking all over the state and I’m honestly not sure if there are areas that I should stay away from. Thank you for your time!

@Larry T. I have watched a TON of videos on YouTube that don’t seem to describe it in a way I can understand. I guess I should have reworded the question better. I know what Wholesaling is, I just don’t understand how it works. I like fine details to understand things and I suppose I haven’t gotten that yet. If i have then maybe wholesaling isn’t for me.

Can anyone explain to me in depth what lease option wholesaling is and how it works? I just heard about it today and wasn’t sure if this idea is legitimate.

@Scott P. Yes, there is a huge tree root that is interfering with some of our piping. We usually don’t call more than once a year for it.

@Zachary Corum Yes I have been getting quotes to fix it but the cost is ridiculously high. Not that I am trying to find an excuse just trying to figure out what to do in the meantime to save money to actually get it fixed. Thank you for your help!

How does everyone handle plumbing problems with your rentals? I am thinking about renting my house but it occasionally has plumbing issues and wasn’t sure how landlords do that. Thank you!
