@Joseph Morganti Hi welcome to BiggerPockers I am a newbie here as well but this place is awesome and there is some much information here for free that elsewhere they are making people pay for. I am a Vet myself got out of the Marine Corps 2014. I'm in the same boat as you. Right now I am just educating myself and coming here learning as much as I Can from this great site so when i make my move its a smart and profitable one.

Good luck to you and your Wife,

let's keep in touch I would love to hear about your progress

@Justin Dryden Thank you, I just set up the alert keywords, I will most definitely check out the podcast. Glad you mentioned Jax REIA ;) I signed up for the classes they offer and hope to do some networking there as well thank you.

As far as my interest to be honest I want to eventually learn it all, of course that will come with experience. Right now, wholesaling has my interest. I'm on the fence about buying my first property and renting it out first just so I can learn/know the ins and outs.

I will reach out thank you again

Good Morning Everyone,

My name is Stephanie I am from Jacksonville Florida. Yes I am a newbie, I have no real estate background whatsoever ;(  I am currently a full time nursing student at Chamberlain College of nursing here in Jacksonville. I graduate next year with my BSN  after that my goal is to more education so I can hopefully open my own clinic. Prior to that I served 8 years in the Marines working as a Supply and Logistics Clerk.

I learned about bigger pockets through my brother who is pretty new to REI as well. Long story short I attend a real estate seminar and fell in love. In the past I've been interested before but always thought I had to have a lot of money to start investing. well through self education and all these classes and seminars I've attended, I'm finding out that I could of started investing a long time ago

( Knowledge really is power).

Of course I came here to network and hopefully meet some experienced REI that are willing to help and guide me through the way. As I stated, I was under the misconception that I needed money to start investing so I have saved a good chunk of money through the years and now ready to dive in.

hope to hear from someone willing to give advice, thanks in advance ;)
