This is a joke, right?

I've never had any luck w Bid Select. I've made hundreds of offers on there, and can never get them to budge. I had a friend who recently got them to drop 30k on one of their properties, though.

I doubt there is anything fishy going on, they are probably just slow and inefficient like the majority of the people involved in the REO sales process.

My 2 cents..

That makes perfect sense, Jeff.

I don't know if it's the same where you're at, but I'm starting to notice an increase in REO listings these last couple of weeks.

I'm licking my chops..

Ditto what Justin said- I get the seller to pay when I'm buying and the buyer to pay when I'm selling.

I've found the majority of my buyers by putting out handwritten bandit signs advertising deals. I try to put out 25-50 every week. If I don't have a house to sell, I will advertise one for another wholesaler.

Do that consistently and you will always have active buyers.

A lot of realtors adhere to the following policy: When in doubt, say it's illegal.

I have realtors tell me all the time that what I'm doing is illegal. I don't even argue anymore.

If you have questions about the legality of what you are trying to accomplish- ask an attorney. Most realtors don't know what they are talking about when it comes to creative real estate.

Hi Karen,

I've built the traffic up slowly over the last few years (started it in 10/06). I don't know much about SEO, I just update it frequently and try to provide interesting content. The more content I provide, the more Google likes me. :)

It's a work in procrastination right now, so it may be awhile. :)

How to make a million dollars wholesaling houses in less than 30 days.

Just kidding.

It's going to be about building a rock solid buyers list.

I've been dabbling in selling other people's rei products on my blog and have been doing well with it.

There's a lot of crap out there, so I am picky about what I will or won't sell- only stuff that I have bought myself and benefited from, or products by people I know who have let me review the material and it is not garbage.

I'm working on an ebook right now that I plan to sell on my blog, and already have several others that want to promote it. I do a lot of social networking on the various sites and in the blogosphere, so it hasn't been hard to find affiliates.

For me, it's nice to have another income stream aside from the deals I'm doing. The two dovetail nicely, I think.
