@Abib Ndiaye, sounds good. I'll send you some contacts & hope that helps. Contractors here are super busy, as they are in most of the country right now.

@Abib Ndiaye, are you doing a full rehab? What types of repairs do you need?

Depending on what type of work you need done, I may be able to provide a referral or two.

Good luck and congrats on your purchase!

Thanks,

Steph

@Andrew Albert, I have not used Slocumb brand. I think there is a mid-price brand (Milgard), which cheaper than Pella/Andersen, for example, that may be what you need?

@Andrew Albert, try PC Window & Door.

If they cannot help, maybe they have other connections locally that can assist.

Good luck,

Steph

@Casey Dimascio, are you looking to purchase the deal with the help of the investor or are you presenting the deal to the investor to buy?

Side note, I invest in Attleboro, so feel free to PM me if you end up looking for someone to who may have interest in the property(ies) and/or want someone local to take a look.

Take care,

Steph

@Devin Cooper, welcome to BP! I'm also located in the Attleboro/Mansfield area.

Are you looking for a hard money lender for rehabs? If so, reach out to @Ann Bellamy here on BP. She is great and can provide lots of guidance.

If you're looking for financing for buy & hold investing, there are lender recommendations here on BP, depending on your needs.

Take care,

Steph

@Steve Bracero, thank you! This is very helpful info.

I'll check city-data.com as well.  I reference that site often.

Thanks!

Steph

@Steve Bracero , yes, we were near Shrewsbury Street for part of our visit but were here and there around the city, too.  It was really an eye-opener (in a good way!) compared to when we were last in the area for any length of time.

We don't have specific zip codes in mind, but it seems like the area had a lot of properties that looked like they had been refurbished or were in the process of being rehabbed.

I'm sure that the city is street to street...makes sense! Any good recommendations for areas that are good or ones to avoid? We aren't specifically looking for a project in the area, but if one comes along, we'd definitely consider it.

Like @Taylor Shapiro ,  I'd also be interested to hear more about the Worcester area from investors who are currently working in the area.

My husband and I were in Worcester recently for a weekend event.  We were really impressed by all of the great activities, new restaurants, and areas that seem to be really revitalized in Worcester and surrounding cities and towns.  The areas of revitalization would seem to indicate (I'd think) that there are opportunities to rehab or wholesale in the Worcester area.  The Pawtucket Red Sox are even considering a move to Worcester. (Personally, I hope they stay in Pawtucket.  The city really needs it.)

Here's a Zillow market report for the city: https://www.zillow.com/worcester-ma/home-values/
