@Jarrod Cook, I thought of Birmingham at one point in time. It was a time where there was an 11 complex deal that was in Birmingham, Mobile, Pensacola, and Jacksonville. Unfortunately, I was outbidded for the project.

I am interested in knowing more about those opportunities. It would give me a reason to go to What-A-Burger down in Birmingham more often.

Hello everyone:

I am a commercial investor that prefer multi family and office space but looking to go into purchasing hotels. Interested in connecting with other investors in the Huntsville, AL area and Atlanta, Ga areas.

Who knows we might be able to do a deal together.

You can go with 9 but the average is really 8.5 and that is including the numbers for North, South, East, and West Huntsville.

Madison AL is not included where their average is around 6-7. I hope that helps.

In multifamily, I had did a deal with 77 units. I would recommend setting up a team:

RE Lawyer/Title
RE Accountant

Property Manager

Mortgage Broker and/or Banker

Property (Home) Inspector / Construction Engineer ( 50 units or more)

If the PM does not have an insurance agent then getting one for yourself

Realtor

Litigation Attorney that specialize in Evictions

Optional but recommended
Like Kind Exchange Manager

Chamber of Commerce rep ( Development Committee member)

City Council member

Asset Attorney/ Accountant for if you plan on doing a private offering or syndicating funds.

Hope that helps, having a team in place helps a lot for big deals. 25 k
