A lot of these comments are great and sounds like you have a good plan. Wish I had started with house hacking, etc.

While you are in the phasing of preparing, I recommend getting the board game Cash Flow and playing with friends.  And fill out one of the forms with your current income, expenses, liabilities etc.   It becomes clear where to reduce expenses vs invest. Credit cards and vehicles, ya. Student loans were so low interest I left those for a long time bc it was worth more to invest my money then pay off

I am in the Cedar Rapids area, Mount Vernon, Iowa City

Hi All,

Maybe there is a different name for this, but is it possible to have subject to an existing mortgage ($115K) and seller financing on the remaining portion of the deal ($100K)?  I have been told yes, but I'm not sure how to structure it.

Thoughts:  All in one agreements? Do not want the subject to mortgage due on sale to potentially happen, so would you do a trust for this overall deal?

Hi All,

Looking to network with landlords in Cedar Rapids/Iowa City that may want to sell off some income properties in the future.  Looking to increase my network.  Especially interested in Seller Financing, which keeps bringing in monthly income without having to still be the landlord nor get all your income from selling your property at once.
