Hi @Joel Oh, Great insight. I am new to STR. Which platform do you use to see the above metrics on conversion rate, first page impression etc.

 Thanks Bryce. This helps. I will look more into Hostfully. When you said it came as runnerup, what criteria have you used to select it. 

Currently my short-term management property is managed by the property management company. If I have to manage the property by myself, I am curious which property management software (Hostaway, Guesty, Lodgify, PriceLabs, Hospitable) is better for sending check-in, checkout messages, and other automated messages. Also I hear PriceLabs does dynamic pricing, and but I  see AirBnb also has dynamic pricing option as well. I want to get some suggestions from experts on what option worked better for them and why?

Thank you everyone. I don't have one in Joshua Tree yet. But I am looking for a better place for STR preferably in California.

Hi,

Does anyone have STR property in Joshua Tree area? If so, can you please share your experience? What are the regulations around Joshua Tree? Is it a good ROI market? Any pain points in investing there?

Mariya, I am in the process of investing in the Sacramento area. Compared to the Bay area, Sacramento is more affordable and you can start to have minimal positive cash flow from the 1st year. In the Bay area, it is hard to find a place with positive cash flow from the 1st year unless you flip the house.
