@JD Monroe Welcome to BP. Much like you, I am new to BP too. In this short time, I have learned a lot from the information on the website. I have also been listening to the excellent Podcasts on my iPhone while I take a walk. This is a great community to learn from and share with.

@Michael Faulk is from the Shreveport/Bossier area too and he is putting together a meetup with some of the BP members in our area. Please contact him if you are interested in attending the meeting. I will be out of town for this meeting, but I hope to join the group at a later date. This will be an excellent place for us to put our forces together.

@Mike M. I am glad to find more people in Louisiana through BP. Thank you for taking the time to write me a note.

@Michael Faulk I will be out of town on May 15th. Are you organizing a formal meetup group? If so, I will join as soon as the meetup is posted and I get the email. If it is not a formal meetup group, it would be great if we could put together a Facebook page to keep in touch and inform each other of the upcoming meetings and have conversations. I just joined the community today and came across your post. I am glad to see another investor from Shreveport area. My name is Helen Hall. I have been working as a Physician Assistant since 1999 and I currently work at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to give back to our veterans.

I used to own a few pieces of reisdential rental property in my past life. I am ready to start investing in real estate again and I am glad to be a part of this community where I can gain and give assistance as much as possible.

I am excited to get started and look forward to all the information and experience that I gain and hopefully give through the forums.
