Anyone heard of Wells Fargo Lift program and would you recommend it?

You don’t even have to be a first time home buyer.

Thoughts?

I am looking to buy another investment property but don’t have enough for down payment in NYC. Is it a good idea to pull out money out of one for a down payment on another?

Good afternoon. I have recently been approved for  a conventional mortgage loan of up to $800k. I have been looking in the NYC area (Staten Island) but everything is on fire around the 5 boroughs and have been out bid. I have been also looking in the New Jersey area but taxes are a bit high out there. I am not too familiar with the area. I know when you look to buy in a income producing property, they say buy close to where you live. Any other states out there that anybody knows of where you can make a profit on your investments. Anybody else buy out of state for a rental income investment? Thank you

Hello I have recently been approved for a $500k FHA loan and I am looking into something in the NYC surrounding area. I have a steady job working for the City of New York for about 2 years now. Any advice on what the next step should be?

Oh man I feel for you. I had the same issue with tenants. The girl had a child and its impossible to kick them out here in NY if they have a kid. She seemed nice at first then the bf moved in and things just got crazy. Fighting all the time, people walking in and out of the house all hours of the night...ets. We had to get a lawyer and it took 6 months of no rent to get her out with an eviction.

I have also invested in a program such as this. They pretty much help you out in the beginning and keep in touch with you but after a while they stop calling but you can always call them anytime for answers. With the program I receive daily FSBO listings in my area and a program that showd foreclosed or preforeclosure homes anywhere in the country.

I have seen pictures of the property and its not that bad of shape. It does need some work, paint job etc...but I think with a little work into it, it can be fixed up and possibly flipped.
@William...the current property owner is an investor from Rhode Island who spoke to a real estate agent who told him the property is in the west side of detroit which is better than the east if that helps at all.
