@James Wise I know that Urban Construction was supposedly the company contracted with OP to do rehab. The president was Paul Jones. Freeport and Boardwalk were more spinoffs but I've never directly been in contact with them.

@Account Closed so that email was on purpose after all? Tell me. What ever happened to Doris Jones, the employee who sent it?

Btw we knew all those companies had the same address and/or shared the same working space

@Jody D. Are you one of his happy as a clam investors? If not, do you of any? I would like to talk to as many as I can to compare notes. I am not making fun of you or being sarcastic. I've been trying the past year to talk to anyone who had an MI property delivered as promised or decent enough. I haven't found any.

@Shiloh Lundahl I would upvote your last comment multiple times if I could. His investors are ignorant, not stupid. "Due diligence" gets thrown around a lot but what does that mean to people who have never done REI? You try to search CM year ago or more. The results were overwhelmingly positive. He got dozens of testimonials from what seem to be his investors. BP posts were buried deep somewhere. Besides, how would they know what kind of site BP is if they haven't spent time hanging around?

There were more common things that MI told investors in deleted videos and other contacts such as:

1. If you're receiving notices from the city it's the city trying to nickel and dime RE investors.

2. Hands off and let the PM take care of everything. They know what they're doing. Don't question. Don't demand to know things. You're only interfering with their work.

3. Properties sell too fast to be posted, have prior inspections, go through bank loan hassles.

4. But why do you need a post inspection? This house was just rehabbed. Everything is new. But why?

5. If the rehabbed items were not done correctly. My team will come back in to redo at no additional charge. I will eat the cost.

6. Just do it. Don't listen to internet forums. These people sit behind their keyboards all day. They haven't done anything.

7. Would I recommend any turnkey company? That's what I do. All day long.

8. Our companies work like hand and glove.

9. If you don't sit down and shut up and let us run this the way we intended, instead keep insisting on knowing what's going on with the property that you bought, then maybe Real Estate isn't for you.

10. Your house has finished rehab and tenanted. Everything looks great. Picture shown above.

I thought there were going to be some Q&A after they were done acting because that's what they said but they just ended the video. Their zealots were defending them in the comments instead of them addressing the real questions.

@Allen Harris I would not consider receiving millions in commissions being screwed more than anyone. There is someone in my mailing group bought 16 or 17 properties from them. She lost $730000 of her life savings.

If you read the comment section of that video you will see that until he receives that cease and desist order his business will go on indefinitely. His supporters are still plenty. He'll have them feeding his business for years. Only criminal charges will stop that train.

In the NY article CM claimed to have investors who he delivered on his promise and are happy as a clam. I have yet to find any. Believe me I've tried very hard this past year. It's like looking for a unicorn. Or maybe there are still hundreds who still don't know what's going on because their rents are still rolling in. Even someone who made a testimonial video about his business is suing him.
