Post: Renting To Students

To my mind, renting for students (especially when your property located near colleges/universities) is a great opportunity to increase your income. Earlier, I've seen here thread about adding extra beds in 2bdrm apartments. However, students are not the best and trustable tenants when we're talking about rentals but with the help of qualitative tenant screening (better face-to-face, the best: with parents) you can find right people. Couple days ago, I was searching for student friendly websites and figured out that in such cities like Philadelphia , there are multiple offers for students with competitive price. This proves that renting for students is not so bad and inefficient as it seems.

On brand new site Rentberry you can find amenity called "wheelchair accessible". But this type of apartments also includes some helpful modifications for disabled people. I was very interested about this question after a couple of meetings with local Disabled Society and to my mind,  NYC is a leader in this trend.

Post: Wheelchair accessible apartments in Chicago

Hi, everyone! I'd like to start a very important discussion about rentals for disabled and after a  brief research (at least 3 appropriate properties among more than 200+ available), I've realized that somehow there is no any specific site or online resource that will help disabled to find wheelchair accessible apartments or properties, that are suitable for this category. How do you think is it a good idea to launch such online service in Chicago and in the USA in general?

@Keith Weigand thank you for reply!

Hey, guys! I'm sure, most of you have seen so called apartment map on Zillow or Apartments. I've also found the  really nice realization of this idea by SF startup called Rentberry. They have nice design decisions and it looks simple in comparison with ApartmentsCom search.

Now, me and my colleagues want to launch the same searching tool, but unfortunately, no one of us is a developer, so we are seeking for additional info on how to launch, how long does it take to create it, which kind of developers do we need in our team. If you had an experience working on it, please give a feedback and help us to define in which way to move and what to do first.

Thank you :)

@Andrew Johnson I'm not surprised about your Votes :) Great answer, thank you. I have not even thought about finding local photography class.

Do you hire someone to make them? Do you know some specialized articles or literature on "How to make photos of your rental property?

@Jennifer T.  My step sister rents a house in NYC, Cony Island. Still everything ok, as she says. Yeah, you right she paid 25$ after the agreement. I will try to use like landlords, now in search.

Good luck everyone.

Post: Investing in Atlanta

I want to invest in property in Atlanta, please give an advice about best neighbourhoods where it's possible to buy property

Please share your mind on this statement. How you protect your property? Alarms, cameras? Tell about your experience. Maybe some of you had your property burglarized. I know that some tenants don't accept cameras installation but after unpleasant consequences try to blame the landlord. How your security measures affect the property price?
