It depends on the type of property, the desired rent, as well as the type of tenants, how you would manage the location payment. I don't think there is much difference between the duplex rather a SFR. If you do a single family home, how many rooms are you looking at? same for the duplex...

However, this sounds greatly interesting. Go for it.

I did it, however I wasn't very thorough about updating it every day. I did get some good leads from that however. So take up the challenge :)

Hi Mark, I understand you standpoint saying that we need to have someone to help us there, thus partnering, and actually thank you for the opportunity. I do believe that it's important also to have or know a realtor that could easily pull comps and gives us others adivces based on what (s)he might know.

Well thanks for all of your answer, so it really bring it down to find a good lawyer and CPA that are used to crossborder operations. Well then thanks, will do some research and will let you know if this information could be of some use to any others participants.

Hey everyone,

This could be a great topic to network or look for realtors in the Buffalo's area. Together with my wife, we are looking for realtor(s) that could help investing in RE in the Buffalo area/Erie county. Do you still have any you could reference to us?

Thank you in advance.

Hey everyone, do you mind if I do switch the language to French?

If you do, then let's keep going in French. Do you have any tips to start off in Montreal? So far, our strategy is going for wholesaling. Do you know if there is any issue regarding the new legislation for double closing? what about transactional money? do using money from the States do work? What about assignment?

I hope to meet some of you at the main upcoming networking event in Montreal. Thank you for your tips.
