There are many on this forum that have served as lenders in some way. And I think it is responsible to not just give out blanket info on:

 "How to screw the lender".

"How to live in your foreclosed house for 2 more years rent free"

"How to stick your Land Contract Lender with your water bill"

Your original post was quite vague but you will get credible help here without paying money to a lawyer that should be going toward saving the house.

In later posts you give more details and get good sugestions.

hello everyone.

I could use some advise.  I'm recently divorced and need to move within the next couple of months. During the divorce my credit got crushed. Had to short sale my house and my x wife got her truck repossessed which was under my name. I was going to rent for two years while I rebuilt credit. Are there any ways to control and    Invest in a property I'm living in then sell for a profit in two years when I'm ready to buy a more suitable house? Or am I pretty much stuck renting until my credit goes up? I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Pick a market to invest with cash while you are rebuilding your credit. Buffalo, NY, Many in PA/OH pick one close to you even if you stay in MA.

Single mom, Fresno. CA 22 years old. Can you relate? Tips to get to my goals faster? General advice?

Wow!!!

Teach your 2 year old daughter to:

Give 10% to Charity or Church

Save / Invest 50% (open a savings account for her NOW)

Live on 40%

Ingrain this in your daughter from the very first regular allowance you give her and I guarantee she will do better than 98% of the people out there.

Hmmm Let me see...

You live on a Navy base...

You have 3 grown daughters...

Are you sure your stalkers  Colleague requests are wanting to ask about RE investing?

@Richard Dunlop

This is an OLD thread.

But I noticed something interesting reading the whole thing.

I’m poster number 40 and with only 1 or 2 exceptions the posters that were in favor of the coaching are not here anymore. Some of them disappeared 7 years ago; some of them disappeared 5 months ago.

The posters that were critical of the coaching are still active.

Actually I'm more inclined to believe the opposite the Pro Coach people spent their money and got discouraged when it was no longer easy as the mentor made it sound.

I don't think you are going to find any cash buyer/interim finance/ transactional funding person that will get excited about this deal.

Of course you wouldn't be able to function as a RE Agent in Detroit with a CA license.

But you would still have to disclose your license on any purchases you did up here.

What brings you to Detroit area? Living up here? I relocated from Orange County CA to Detroit because of the opportunities up here.

Thank you for your work clearing out the trash.
