That's so good, @Kevin Sobilo! You had the leg up with the bookkeeper on board from the beginning.

@Will Morrison I'm extremely biased to the multiple account approach using the Profit First system that @Kevin Sobilo described since I authored Profit First for Real Estate Investing. It is a simple system but makes sure you know where every dollar is in your business. That said, I think opening an account for every single property can become burdensome as you grow past a dozen doors. I agree with others. It's based on your preference. I will say, one account per property gives you CLARITY on that property's cash performance and gives you more data. You have to weigh if that data is worth the hassle of one account per property and the management of someone to bookkeep that many accounts.

Hi @Jared Lomker

The number one book is Profit First by Mike Michalowicz. Learn how to keep the money you will make in real estate investing now. Reading this book will literally add zeros to your bank account if you start with this system.

I'd also recommend Gary Keller's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor because of the book's practical tips.

Welcome, @John Freed

If you like reading real estate books, I highly recommend Profit First by Mike Michlowicz. Without any financial literacy, it tells you how to manage the finances of your properties and business.
I'd also recommend Gary Keller's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor because of the book's practical tips.

Good luck on your journey!

    @Chris Reyes,

    Ask if they invest in Real Estate themselves. Ask how many current REI clients they have and if they have any referrals to call.

      Hi @Stephon Paul,

      Find someone to learn from for free and if you like doing real estate for free and learning you should jump into it and make money from it.
